The story of the farm
“Whenever I need peace, I find it here…”
I am Martin and since 2016 I have been lovingly taking care of Mračov Farm – an old homestead in the small settlement of Mračov near Blatná, which I bought at that time.
I was looking for a place that would be the opposite of corporate life, airports, meetings and crowds. The desire for peace, quiet and simple existence was so strong that I had to make a change. But finding such a place is not easy. And when I almost gave up, the farm found me on its own.
When you arrive, maybe you’ll understand what drew me here, what I see and, more importantly, what I feel. And maybe you’ll agree with me that this place has a soul.
Turns out the farm needed more than just repairs – it needed a complete renovation. I moved here and started working with local craftsmen and contractors. Thanks to the sensitive guidance of designer Zlata Voborská from Písek, today Farma Mračov combines modern elements with the spirit of the original building.
But you can’t do everything alone for long. I realized that I can’t renovate, pay off loans and farm at the same time. So in 2021, I invited my brother Michael. I bring visions and ideas, he holds the direction – he’s great at organization and execution. Together, we have given Mračov Farm a clear path that comes from our lives and we want to pass it on.

We opened Mračov Farm to the public in 2022 and we look forward to every new visit.
Everyone who visits and spends some time here should leave with a sense of peace, charged with positive energy and enriched with an experience or new inspiration.
